Hi! I’m Samantha 🤍

I’m a widow and a mom.

Everything I share comes from lived experience, ongoing learning, and listening closely to what widows say they actually need.

After my husband, Jimmy, died, I wasn’t just grieving, I was surviving.

I was functioning.
Doing what needed to be done. Holding everything together.

But inside, my body was tense, overwhelmed, and always on edge.

What shifted things for me wasn’t “moving on.”

It was realizing that grief doesn’t just break your heart, it keeps your nervous system on high alert.

Once I understood that, I stopped forcing healing and began rebuilding from a place of steadiness instead of pressure.

That’s why I created Out of Survival Mode, the first step I wish I’d had when everything felt heavy and confusing.

You don’t have to rush healing.
You don’t have to pretend you’re strong.
And you don’t have to do this alone.

♡ Samantha
